Lehrerbildung@LMU (teacher training at LMU)
The project Lehrerbildung@LMU (teacher training at LMU) is being sponsored since the summer of 2015 until December 2018 within the framework of the "Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung" (common federal and state quality initiative in teacher training) by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), which is investing approximately 6.9 million Euro into the programme.
With the development of this project, the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) has created a central instrument for advancing teacher training. All LMU faculties relevant to teacher training are involved in the project. They are partaking in a structured, thematically and conceptionally diversified set of measures with five core areas.
